DBPR employees provide services to over 270 state licensee types - including everything from Real Estate, to Cosmetology, to Hotels & Restaurants, to Elevators. Versa's LicenseEase solution replaced 72 disparate systems for seven divisions and more than 30 regulatory programs. Florida Department of Health, Medical Quality Assurance Division

FL-MQAThe Division regulates 82 types of health professionals in Florida from doctors and nurses to midwives. Versa implemented its licensing and enforcement solution including application tracking licensing, renewals, fees, inspections, examination scheduling and tracking, enforcement, discipline and compliance. The project was expanded to include Emergency Medical Services licensing and Radiological Technicians (x-ray); two programs transferred to MQA. Georgia Department of Community Health

GA-DCHThe Georgia Department of Community Health (DCH) contracted with Versa to implement a fully integrated licensing and enforcement system for the Composite State Board of Medical Examiners and Georgia Better Health Care.  The Versa team converted all existing data, trained DCH staff, suggested improved business processes for better productivity, implemented automated letter processing and provided database administration services. Ontario Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing

ON-MAHLicenseEase and eGateway COTS products were selected by the Ministry to provide a bilingual web-based system allowing building practitioners, including building officials and designers, to apply for examinations and file their qualification information.  It also allows the public to access a registry of building practitioners and organizations (firms and municipalities) in order to verify their qualification information. Arizona Board of Cosmetology

AZ-BOCThe Arizona Board of Cosmetology required an application software package, in the form of an online licensing system to manage information of those professionals under their regulatory authority. The Board requested standard functionality features for licensing and permit servicing including: Initial & renewal Licensing of individuals and organizations; Education Tracking and adherence; Examination sites and scheduling; Complaints and Enforcement, Investigation and Inspection Tracking; Cash batch and cash handling and a comprehensive Reporting module. Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission          

TX-ABCThe Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission (TABC) selected LicenseEase and eGateway to modernize its computer systems and improved customer service. The new system replaced several aging platforms and delivers much needed Internet functionality to license holders while at the same time allowing the Commission's 250 staff to better administer the 65 types of alcoholic beverage licenses and permits. Nevada State Contractors Board

NV-SCBThe Nevada State Contractors' Board (NSCB) selected Versa for the implementation of a fully integrated, comprehensive, automated licensing, enforcement and accounting system. The system included secure storage of data, cross-matching data elements, automated case management, detailed query and reporting functions, online web-access license renewal capabilities and application tracking and document imaging.

Texas Department of State Health Services

TX-DSHSThe Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS) provides programs that help protect all Texans from illness, prevent the spread of disease, provide direct health services and promote emergency preparedness. DSHS selected Versa to provide an enterprise solution that will cover the licensing and enforcement needs of 83 unique programs that are currently supported by 53 separate software systems. The project will be delivered in three phases, with the first phase going into production in June 2006.
