Account Manager - Toronto
Versa Systems is a leading provider of enterprise licensing, enforcement and case management solutions for government agencies across North America. To meet our clients' need for excellent customer service, to focus on strategic account development, and to upgrade existing clients to our new web applications, we are expanding our team of Account Managers .
We're looking for an exceptional individual who has extensive experience selling software solutions to an existing client base, and who has the following experience:
- creating strategic account plans,
- participating in client planning activities;
- maintaining positive client relationships,
- achieving trusted advisor status with clients,
- developing opportunity plans,
- qualifying opportunities,
- developing and driving sales strategies, and
- achieving overall revenue goals.
Requirements
- university degree
- at least five years' business-to-government enterprise application sales experience
- experience presenting to government regulatory and/or related agencies
- proven track record of achieving/exceeding sales quotas
- good understanding of software technology
- experience developing RFP/RFI responses
- experience negotiating contract terms and conditions
- demonstrated experience closing million dollar deals
- demonstrated time management and organizational skills
- excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
Located in Toronto, this position requires the ability to travel (up to 50% of time) to locations in Canada and across the United States.
