Larry Binnion
Chairman


Larry Binnion Larry Binnion is responsible for corporate strategy for the Versa Systems group of companies. This includes seeking new and expanded business opportunities and relationships. He brings his extensive experience in delivering innovative computer solutions to government and industry to the benefit of Versa's clients.

Larry led the management buy out of Versa from KPMG in 2001 and was President and CEO of Versa developing corporate vision and managing operations until March 2007. Prior to acquiring Versa he was a thirty year career partner with KPMG. During this career Larry undertook senior assignments in both the public and private sector. Some of these assignments were: project manager developing a transformational system for government vehicle registration and insurance; vice president for a large health benefits insurance company; managing partner of an oil and gas software company; managing partner of an outsourcing company delivering solutions to government, municipalities, first nations, agriculture, construction industry, services industry, wholesale and distribution industry, and hospitality industry. Larry was also national director of KPMG's information technology department and Year 2000 practice leader.

Prior to KPMG, Larry was employed in the comptrollers department of Exxon affiliate Imperial Oil Limited and prior to that he was in public practice (auditing, tax & consulting).

Larry is a Chartered Accountant and graduate of the Management Training Course of the University of Western Ontario.

Brock Philp
President and Chief Executive Officer


President and Chief Executive Officer Brock Philp is responsible for marketplace expansion and overall corporate operations. This includes business strategy, product direction and profitability. He brings to this position 22 years of business experience with a proven track record of successful leadership. His professional assets include account management, business to business marketing, operations management, sales management, leadership and people development and global business skills.

Brock was formerly the CEO of Jonas Software which is a division of Constellation Software. His past positions include: Vice President of Business Development, CGI (Outsourcing, Systems Integration); Vice President of Global Sales, Minacom (Quality Assurance Software); general manager at Bell Canada; He has also held key roles at Lucent Canada and St. Lawrence Cement.

He has a Business Administration Diploma from Seneca College, an Executive MBA from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Administrative studies from York University.

Brenda Riddell
Vice President, Case Management Solutions 


Brenda Riddell Brenda Riddell leads the Case Management Solutions Division of Versa Systems. This role includes major account management and setting product and operations strategy for the division. Her preeminent experience in disability case management has led Versa to becoming the leading vendor in this marketplace.

Brenda's expertise in the U.S. government's Disability Determination System, allows her to manage a client base of the 17 State government systems responsible for processing 50% of all U.S. Social Security Administration non-occupational disability claims. Brenda is a computer systems professional with over 24 years experience in all aspects of technology including system development life cycle, project management, and information systems management. With her extensive industry knowledge, she is instrumental in providing technical direction and vision for the Case Management Solutions group.

She received her diploma of Computer Programming from the Honeywell Institute for Continuing Studies.

Tom Gottlieb
Vice President, Licensing Solutions


Tom Gottlieb Tom Gottlieb leads sales and marketing for the Licensing Solutions Division of Versa Systems and is responsible for product management, policy and direction, and senior account management. He is a leading visionary for government regulation in North America and brings this insight to establishing Versa as the leading supplier of licensing and enforcement solutions in the marketplace.

Tom is a recognized North American expert on regulatory practices, legislation and reform. He serves as co-chair of various committees for the Council on Licensure Enforcement and Regulation (CLEAR). In this role, Tom leads a committee which determines content for the Council's annual conference and he is a regular speaker and session coordinator for CLEAR. Prior to joining Versa, Tom owned a mid-sized software company providing business application software development and consulting services.

He received his M.A.Sc. Electrical Engineering from the University of Toronto and is a licensed member of Professional Engineers Ontario.
