Utility Functions
Versa:Regulation is a fully integrated solution designed to meet the diverse business needs of regulatory agencies. The business modules deliver the required depth of business functionality but to be truly effective, the solution must empower and delight users during their every day work experience with the system. The Versa:Regulation Utility Functions make each user a “power” user and makes the system the “workhorse” application that people want to use. Versa:Regulation includes the extensive set of Utility Functions listed below.

Security
|
User registration and authentication is built in to Versa:Regulation allowing your system administrators to control access to all modules and functions of the system. A role-based model is used so that a role can be created to parallel each user job and users can be easily assigned roles. From an application perspective, security controls module access, permitted functions and transactions, database privileges (e.g. add, change, delete, view), and license type permissions. The enforcement system includes an additional three dimensional security layer designed to handle any sensitive information access restrictions

Administration
|
The flexibility of Versa:Regulation is legendary and is managed from an extensive library of system administration modules. Each rule table and code table can be maintained from a user friendly web interface. Technical programming skills are not required for effective system administration.

Assignment
|
Work assignment functions are built into the core business modules of Versa:Regulation allowing managers to assign work to application or license processors, investigators and inspectors through rules that determine work eligibility and load.

Attachment
|
Document attachment functions are built into Versa:Regulation at all the key touch points of the system allowing your staff to attach documents or images of any file type to be attached to an application, license, complaint or case, inspection. Versa:Regulation attachments work in much the same way as e-mail attachments are managed in MS Outlook. You can browse, attach, view and delete attachments within Versa:Regulation. Attachments can be used for photos, renewal or other forms. Even sound or movie clips may be attached.

Search Engines

We know you have lots of data and too much paper to deal with every day. So Versa:Regulation provides powerful advanced search engines that are interconnected to help you fund what you want fast. An example of an interconnected search would be to search for a licensee from within a case or inspection. Search engines are provided for all major business areas including licensed or unlicensed entities.

Search Results
|
Versa:Regulation search results functions provide basic query capability to all users without the need for any ad-hoc query tools. Results lists include primary and secondary sorting capability on any column and hyperlink access to any record found in the results.

User Defined Records
|
After more than 15 years in the business, if we learned one thing about regulators, we learned that they are passionate about their data. We could never predict the specific data needed for your license types as mandated by your legislation, so we let you build your own record types with any content and automatically connect these records to applications, licenses, complaints or cases, or inspections. Versa:Regulation will build the records for you, keep history of changes for you, and provide you with the data entry pages – all automatically without programming. Versa believes in the saying “No Data Left Behind”.

Letters
|
Versa:Regulation provides an integrated letter system allowing you to define any number of letter templates with merge fields that extract data from the license, application or case as required. Letters can be configured to include “ask” fields that stop for operator input or multiple text selections that stop and allow you to choose between sentence or phrase options.

Reports
|
Versa:Regulation includes “factory default” reports that are designed to meet your initial reporting requirements. These include the types of run reports needed for the system to track the results of various periodic batch processes like the generation of renewals. There are also integrated operations reports such as the Daily Cash Deposit List and other on demand reports that in total make up about 45 standard reports that are included in the solution. Additional statistical and management reports are provided through Versa:Datamart.
