Implementation Services
We pride ourselves on our 25 year track record of successful implementations. Versa project managers are either PMP certified or are in the process of acquiring this designation. Versa also follows CMMI best practices and adheres to PMI standards. Each implementation project is governed by a Statement of Work (SOW) that outlines the tasks, deliverables and responsibilities of both Versa and Client staff. It also includes a project schedule and change order process that needs to be accepted by the client before any work can begin. The SOW is the recipe for success of any project and deviations from it need to follow a rigorous change process that looks at the time, scope and cost impact and risk.
Each Statemwent of Work will have at a minimum the following tasks:
| Project Management | Versa will initiate the project and provide project management and technical management for the Versa team responsibilities. The objective of this task is to establish a framework for project planning, communications, reporting, and contractual activity and to ensure that any technical issues are addressed quickly and professionally. The Versa Project Manager will be responsible for the Project Planning and Project Management aspects of this task. The Versa Technical Manager will be responsible for the Technical Management aspects of this task. This task continues for the entire duration of the project. |
| Installation | The purpose of this task is to install Versa:Regulation and related products and databases. The base installation of the system will serve the project in many ways. It will verify that client hardware and system software are compatible with our software so that any problems will be discovered and rectified long before the system is scheduled to go into production. |
| Requirements | In order to tailor Versa:Regulation for each separate license type to be managed, a series of interviews are conducted to analyze your specific business and legislated requirements. |
| Configuration | Each License Type must be configured according to Versa:Regulation rules based system functions. We conduct interviews with your business experts who are knowledgeable in the rules and regulations governing each type of license, discuss the specific license requirements and enter the Versa:Regulation configurations. |
| Develop Modifications and Interfaces | The objective of this task is to design, program and install your required modifications to the Versa:Regulation package and any interfaces needed to other applications. |
| Data Conversion | The purpose of this task is to move license information from your existing production system into the Versa:Regulation database. |
| Acceptance testing | The objective of this task is for Versa to assist you with testing the system. Versa will assist with the development of test cases to support your licensing and enforcement processes. You will perform these test cases to verify operation of the Versa:Regulation solution. |
| Go-Live Support | Versa recognizes the importance of a smooth transition from the old to the new system, which must occur in a manner that minimizes disruption. Versa will provide on site support for each release following the cutover of the system into production. |
